About The Muletowner

We’re two neighbors who love this town and wanted one simple place to find out what’s happening in it.

The Muletowner is a love letter to Columbia, Tennessee — the heart of Maury County and the original Mule Town. From First Fridays on the square to new restaurants, school news, festivals, and Mule Day itself, we cover the events, small businesses, and community stories that make this corner of Middle Tennessee worth showing up for.

Why we started it

Columbia is growing fast, and it’s easy for great local happenings to slip by unnoticed. We started The Muletowner to shine a light on the people and places that make Maury County special — and to bring neighbors together around the things going on right down the street. No paywalls, no noise — just the good stuff, every Thursday.
